I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
